This kid!! he is loaded with personality, I have to remember often that he needs my help calming down. Dominik was diagnosed with Autism spectrum disorder with a definite emphasis on “SPD”(Sensory Processing Disorder), it’s a delicate balance to not let it take over every aspect of our lives! He is sensitive and loving and super affectionate. People are surprised by his diagnosis until they see him around a piece of meat or smell something that isn’t pleasant to him and then it becomes clear…He starts gagging and running in circles to escape the smell, is it starting to become clear why the Essential oils have rescued us in many ways? Dominik has learned to run over to his oil of choice, usually Peppermint, Orange or Lavender, he whips the top off and gives it a good whiff and all is right with the world!

 

Ashton will always be my baby boy and he is finally at the age where it doesn’t embarrass him for me to say that.When I first started using the oils several years ago he thought it was all in my head that I could put an Oil (Gentle baby) on my feet when I was pregnant with his brother and be able to sleep, and when I had sciatic pain Panaway helped in a major way! He thought it was a mind over matter. Then forward four years, he was going through some sleep issues of his own, and when he was tossing and turning I would go sneak some oils on his feet.He would wake up the next morning and ask if I oiled his feet again, he started coming to me and asking for oils that would help with other issues.

Sounds like a cliche but My husband is my best friend, He started out like any good husband by just supporting what I was doing but he was a believer in these little drops of goodness probably faster than all of us because he understood the science behind them, he is the healthiest in our family so it makes sense! I created this little space for you to follow our Oily journey and see how we do it….WELCOME
